Top of the Crops

Crop tops are meant to be this years Summer must have.

I'm a bit sceptical tbh, but having done some research I think there may be some potential for even those who most definitely DON'T have a wash board stomach!

I've put together a few looks with crop tops below, so if any of them take your fancy let me know in the comments!

Have you brought any crop tops for your Summer wardrobe yet?

Colour Crush: Peach

Next in my colour crush series is Peach.

I love this colour as part of the ice cream pastal trend which is always big for Summer, it flatters almost every skin tone (but obviously looks best with a deep golden brown tan gained on your holidays.. *sigh*) and is everywhere at the moment.

Keep things subtle with just a nail colour or clutch, or go whole hog with jeans or a playsuit, how do you think this colour will fit into your wardrobe this Summer?

Colour Crush: Lavendar

I've decided to start a new regular post; Colour Crush. Like lots of people I tend to get stuck in a rut wearing navy and black almost all the time, so hopefully looking at some of the seasons most vibrant colours will inspire me to go for one of them!
Lavendar is one of the pastal, ice-cream shades which I'm sure will be popular in Spring and Summer, and there are lots of it about in the shops.

Are you a colour person or are you like me and find it hard to step out of your comfort zone?

D&G Western Look

I've recently discovered this site called Polyvore and created the look below. It's inspired by the Dolce and Gabanna S/S 2010 Ready-to-Wear collection from Milan (you can see all the catwalk images from it on Vogue.co.uk) and also a shoot from the American Cosmo magazine featuring Cory Monteith (Finn) from Glee looking rather hot and cavorting with someone very pretty.

I really like the boots I've put in there. They're by Emma Cook for Topshop and go with this look perfectly but are £175 so I'll keep dreaming.

Boohoo also have alot more denim stuff similar to the D&G runway and are ridiculously cheap so I possibly  may be investing in a piece or two...
