Best Dressed 2011: Emma Watson

Having already run down my list of Best Dresses worn in 2011, the time has come to crown the best dressed individual. Whilst some celebrities can be a bit hit and miss, someone who always seems to get it right is Emma Watson.

It's been a busy year for Ms. Watson, with the Harry Potter franchise finally coming to an emotional close, being selected as the face of Lancome, modelling for Burberry, as well as filming her upcoming releases, My Week With Marilyn and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Not to mention signing up to attend Oxford University.

In the style stakes though she never lets us down. The Ellie Saab number she wore to the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 premiere after party was floaty and feminine, but she can equally show us some edge wearing a tartan print Alexander McQueen dress, or the harsher look she adopted for the New York premiere of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, with slicked down hair and a smokey eye.

There's plenty more opportunities for Emma to shine next year with premieres and awards ceremonies which all have her name on, and I'm in no doubt that she will continue to look fantastic both on and off the red carpet.

If you have to pick just one person as the best dressed of 2011, who would be your choice?

One to watch: Felicity Jones

Felicity Jones is a young British actress from Birmingham. She's recently been chosen to front the Dolce and Gabbana's cosmetic collection campaign, as well as already having worked with fashion house Burberry.
Her acting career started in a children's programme I remember watching, Worst Witch, and she has since gone on to hit the big screen, staring in Like Crazy, The Tempest and Chalet Girl all in 2011.

In 2012 I'm predicting big things for this girl. She's already got the biggest fashion houses on side, and her striking "English Rose" looks, as well as her enviable style mean, that she can turn heads on the red carpet as well as on screen.

She seems to favour summery-mint shades, her sky blue Mui Mui dress with an embellished waist band in the top left is stunning, as is the sophisticated elegence of the Calvin Klein number she wore to the Power 100: Women in Entertainment Breakfast (bottom left)

What do you make of Felicity Jones' style?

Spring/ Summer is here!

I am overcome with excitement!

Alright I'm not that excited but it is pretty good that Spring/ Summer is making a very welcome return to the high street, after months of muggy British weather it's been sorely missed.

So what does Spring Summer have in store for us? Here is my run down of my favourite trends for Summer:

1. Skinny capris (As seen at Balmain, Isabele Marant, Hermes)

2. Chunky heels (As seen at Mui Mui, Donna Karen, Victor and Rolf)

3. Crochet (As seen at Emilio Pucci, Gucci, D&G and Julien MacDonald)

4. 1970s Glamour(As seen at Emilio Pucci, Derek Lam)

5. Sheer (Erdem, Chloe, Richard Nicoll)

Enjoy!
